It’s Going to be 1975 at Laneway Festival Singapore 2016!
We’re going back 40 years to make 2016 even better! Yes that’s right, all the way back to The 1975 to make Laneway Festival Singapore 2016 even more of a smash not to miss. Proudly formed in the city of Manchester in Britain, The 1975 is a rock band that has been quickly gathering up fans since its hit debut album in 2013.
Made up of Matthew Healy (vocals, guitar), Adam Hann (guitar), George Daniel (drums), and Ross MacDonald (bass), the band has released four EPs, but its self-titled debut album was the one that blasted them to stardom by getting to the top spot in the UK Albums Chart in September 2013. The lads kicked off the following year with a sold-out UK tour that included shows at both Manchester Academy and London’s Brixton Academy, and continued with landmark shows at the Royal Albert Hall and Alexandra Palace, and a sold-out tour across the US.
Their latest single, released this year, is ‘Love Me’. It is taken from their second album, titled I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It, slated to be released in February 2016. Earlier this year, we had to disappoint some of you because we were sold out for Laneway Festival Singapore 2015, and could not squeeze any more people in; so don’t let that happen to you next year. Get your tickets for Laneway Festival Singapore 2016 now, and check out one of Britain’s biggest new band, in time for the release of its much-anticipated album.
And you don’t even have to travel back in time for this.
